Fraternal Order of Eagles Partner with The University of Iowa on the Eagles Diabetes Research Center at The University of Iowa

Tuesday, August 12 (Grove City, OH) – In a unanimous decision by more than 700 voting Fraternal Order of Eagle delegates from across the United States and Canada , the Eagles will partner with The University of Iowa in a five year fundraising project that will culminate with The Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center at The University of Iowa.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center will be a dedicated center for diabetes research within the Institute for Biomedical Discovery Building at The University of Iowa. Money fundraised by the Fraternal Order of Eagles will go directly to medical research, while The University of Iowa will supply funding for the building and ongoing maintenance of the facility.

Law Enforcement Officer, EMT and Firefighter Membership Program

As approved at the 2008 International Convention in Louisville, KY, all law enforcement officers (not available for Mn Law enforcement by state statute of not accepting gratuities), EMT and firefighters in United States and Canada are eligible to become members without paying dues or per capita taxes for one year of membership.  Ask an auxiliary or aerie officer for details.
