Here it is the end of Feb already and time for another newsletter. If you haven’t been to the club recently I hope you come down soon and see the terrific job our new manager is doing. Taryn took over as Mgr in January and seems to be doing a terrific job for us. Upcoming events at your Eagles club includes our annual Winter Bash on March 4 and 5 for which we are selling raffle tickets for big cash prizes, Golf either on the river or Red Robe Park (depending on the weather) and a Snowmobile ride to Goodrich, Grygla, Middle River, and return to the Club around 4 PM for burgers and brats. Your officers and others are busy lining up prizes for the Father /Son Banquet on Mar 14 so come on down and see what you and your kids can win. The Father/Daughter Banquet will be on April 18 and I hope to see you there. St Pat’s day will have the usual adults get together on Mar 17. In membership we are behind a little bit but we have been able to keep our “no Goose Egg “. There are many benefits to being a member such as our drink a month card, the Memorial Fund, and occasional meals. First years free dues is now open to ex military (with a DD214) as well as Emergency responding people such as fire and ambulance workers. My wife Kay and I will be gone on a much needed vacation in March but any other time if you would like to get a hold of me, do so at 218-689-8366. Fraternally Yours, Buzz.

Hi Brother & Sister Eagles
As I write this letter it is getting to look a lot like our snow is slowing leaving us a little bit at a time. It won't make me feel bad when it is all gone. At night time it still gets a little cool so be sure to keep your jacket handy, we don't want you getting a cold or something like that. Be careful when driving; always watch out for the other guy because he may not see you coming. As you all know by now, being there was a write-up in the paper, about our previous Mgr. Ken Bakke whom we let go due to Financial Difficulties. We have since then Hired a new Mgr. You maybe know who she is. She is no stranger to us, having worked here previously over the past years. She is Taryn Hejlik.　 She also has a Catering business license so that is a plus, for all the groups coming and want somebody to do the work so they don't have to. There may be a few changes made in the near future, so come down when possible and find out what we are doing in our Eagles Club.　 Why don't you come down and say Hi to our new Mgr. and maybe give her you’re input on a few things, I'm sure she will be more than happy to visit with you whenever she has time. Right now things are just getting back into shape. Now a bit on the drink cards. I hope you all understand the way it is with them. You buy one drink and then you get your free one. Pay your dues on time and you will get your card, IF you are late even a DAY we have to draw the line someplace. So you won't get the card. If you do the math on the card it doesn’t cost you anything for your dues. So come on down to the club and see what is going on. Until next guide I hope to see you at our Eagles Club.
