Hi Everyone Time for another newsletter seems like I just wrote one. Well it looks like the Holidays are over, so we can look forward to the springtime weather. We had a Big Bash on Feb. 27th but I don't know how it went because as I write this letter the Bash hasn't taken place yet. I will let you know in the next Guide what we did and so on. We do have a new Gaming Mgr. His name is Nathan Jordet. If you have any ideas about how to improve our gaming, whether it is Bingo, Pull Tabs or anything else let Nate know about it, maybe he can do something different. Be sure to check your dues card to see if you are in need of a new one. Every time Ruth sends out a reminder to you it costs the Club 44 cents, so if you figure 600+ members it really adds up to a lot of money. So pay one time and you will receive your free drink card. If you are late, well guess what no free card. Remember to come down to the club to see what is going on. If everybody will, when the committees call on you for help, that you do just that, HELP. The committee will be thankful and their job will be so much easier. Come on down to the club and have a cocktail or two and if you think about that friend that is seating next to you, why don't you ask him if he a member in good standing. If he isn't, ask him to pay his dues. If he isn't a member ask him to join. We need a lot of new members to make our quota for the year which is only 72.
Until next guide why don't you thank the members that go out of their way to make the Club run smooth throughout the year? That is all for now. See
you at the Club. Secy Emil Vanyo
From the secretary/membership chair.
Short and sweet letter this time. We have at this time 9 new members. We need 3 more to make our quota. Lets ask someone you know. I have know Jodi Kuznia for 15 years and never asked her to join. Well low and behold I asked her the other night and she said yes. So maybe they weren’t ready or you didn’t think they would join and I guess you never know until you ask.
Also if you wonder what your dues are the solution is easy. Look at your membership card. You pay what it says on there. We haven’t raised our dues for 4 years and hope to stave off another raise for quite awhile.

Hello Sisters,
I hope you all had a good winter so far. I know we are all sick of the cold and snow. Just a reminder to come and enjoy bingo and all the other activities at the club. Also I would like to invite and encourage you to attend our Auxiliary’s 60th Anniversary celebration on the 19th of April. Help us thank all those who gave of themselves over the years. The dinner will be at 6:30pm and there will be no charge but you need to call for a reservation. Even if you aren’t sure tell us you are coming. We would rather have too much than not enough. You can call Kay 689-8367 (leave a message if she doesn’t answer) by the 14th. I hope to see you all there. We will be inviting other clubs too. If we call you to help us serve the father/son or father/daughter please say yes. I would also like to wish officers Dorothy Chapman who broke her hip and Sandy Sunsdahl who has a pelvis fracture from getting hit by a car a speedy recovery.
I would like to encourage you also to come and sit in on our meetings. We need fresh ideas and thoughts. We meet every 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:30.
Thanks to everyone who helped with the pancake breakfast for the winterfest.
Have a wonderful Easter and Mother’s Day to you all.

Mothers are special. Is your Mother living today? If so, try to make this Mother's Day the most wonderful day of her life! Show her you care if only by telling her you love her. Take her out to eat, take her flowers, but show up on Mother's Day, if possible. You will never know how much this helps Mother to realize her family still cares. Sometimes we get busy doing the usual things in life, and lose sight of the most important aspects - loving our family. And Mother happens to be where that 'family' began. Without Mother, there would never have been a family. You might also tell Daddy that you are so happy that he chose Mother to be his wife. Make his eyes light up as well!!
Auxiliary 2368 will celebrate their 60th Anniversary on April 19th. 6:30 meal - 7:30 celebration with dignitaries.
April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day is a day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. Traditionally, in some countries, such as the UK, Australia and South Africa the jokes only last until noon, and someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool".[1] Elsewhere, such as in Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Russia, The Netherlands, and the U.S., the jokes last all day

Call for reservations. Last year we almost ran out.
A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city
because he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a meter.
Then he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: "I have
circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my
appointment. Forgive us our trespasses."
When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along
with this note "I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give
you a ticket I'll lose my job. Lead us not into temptation."
Brother Eagles,
“Plant the seed – Reap the harvest”. As of Dec 31st Minnesota with Missouri in the #7 slot for new and reenrolled members.
On the local aerie level, we are at 33 with a quota of 72 putting us at 45.8%. We still need 1 new or reenrollee to keep our “No Goose Egg” status for the month of Feb. We have a few new members to be initiated yet & I will be contacting them so we don’t let them fall through the cracks.
Don’t forget to attend club functions & keep our Aerie Active. We have some great Happening coming up in the form of Banquets, mixers, emergency personal appreciation dinners. Our dual Aerie and Auxiliary meet is scheduled for Mar 30.

Flexible vacuum
To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.
I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay.
While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage. The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign... "Energy efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not
step in exhaust."

First I was dying to finish High School and start college. Then I was dying to finish college and start working.
Then I was dying to marry and have children.
Then I was dying for my children to grow old enough so that I could go back to work.
But then I was dying to retire – and now I am dying and realized I forgot to live.
Please don’t let this happen to you. Appreciate your current situation and enjoy each day
